If you want to make your makeup more refined, the rational use of makeup brushes is essential. Different types of brush heads have very different functions and effects. Today, I will briefly talk about the first compulsory course of makeup brushes.
According to the classification of hair quality, it can be divided into two categories in simple terms
Natural bristles: animal hair, soft hair, strong powder grip, and more compliant makeup. Commonly used in eye shadow brushes, blush brushes, loose powder brushes, etc.
Artificial bristles: Synthetic fibers, with slightly harder hair, suitable for thick cream makeup. The price is much cheaper than natural bristles. They are often used for foundation brushes, eyeliner brushes, lip brushes, etc.
According to the function classification, it can be divided into the following types
Foundation brush: It can create a natural and translucent base makeup, so that the makeup base does not feel heavy. When using it, dip a small amount of liquid foundation on the back of the hand several times and then slowly push it away to create a matte base makeup, especially suitable for novice makeup.
Concealer brush: This brush head is too thin, which can cover the red spots, acne marks and other blemishes in the local area of the face.
Loose powder brush: The large area of the brush head is generally made of fiber hair, which is used to loose powder and prevent makeup from falling off.
Eyeshadow brush: As the name suggests, it is used to color the eyeshadow. You can have a large, medium and small eye shadow brush. Large brushes can be used for large-area foundation of light-colored eyeshadows; medium brushes can be partially modified; small brushes can draw eyeshadows in more detail.
Blush/Contouring Brush: The oval brush head is used to control the position of blush and contouring. The blush enhances the complexion, and the contouring method shows the small face. The undercoat of this type of brush is relatively loose, the bristles are light and soft, and the smudge effect will be more delicate and natural.
High-gloss brush: Used to brighten up some areas, especially cheekbones, nose wings, eyebrows and other parts to make the makeup more three-dimensional.
Smudge brush: This brush is indispensable. It can also be called a modification brush vividly. It has many uses. It can be used to smudge highlights, eye shadows and other places.
Eyebrow brush: Used to dip in eyebrow powder to outline a natural eyebrow contour.
